Our School of Health and Social Wellbeing has a really exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Research Project Coordinator to join our research team and play a key role in the successful delivery of the PolyPILL study, which aims to develop a pharmacist-led service to support children and young people with life-limiting illness who take multiple medicines.
You're an experienced administrator or project coordinator who will closely with academic colleagues, research partners and external stakeholders, providing specialist project coordination and operational support across the full lifecycle of research projects.
You'll contribute to the planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and in compliance with funder and University requirements. As our Research Project Coordinator, you'll be coordinating meetings and events, maintaining project documentation and reporting systems, monitoring milestones and deadlines, supporting governance and compliance activities, and facilitating effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.
You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in research management and project coordination while contributing to research that delivers real-world impact.
About you
You're an organised and proactive administrator or project coordinator with experience of supporting complex projects and managing competing priorities. You will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate activities, monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
Ideally, you will have experience of supporting research projects, externally funded programmes or similar initiatives within higher education, healthcare, research or the public sector.

This is a part-time, fixed-term post until 30/11/2027, working 7.5 hours per week.
Salary offers are made in line with the University's salary assessment guidelines, reflecting your relevant skills and experience in parity with colleagues.
