Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Research & Development Engineer for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate with experience in driving process improvements, product testing, and data-driven manufacturing enhancements.

Rate Range: $52/Hour to $55/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Research & Development Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Drive process improvement and process development initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

• Support prototype and product builds by coordinating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

• Conduct product testing, analyze performance data, and publish findings to support engineering decisions.

• Perform failure analysis using established methodologies and communicate recommendations for corrective actions.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and process-related records.

• Track project milestones, provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership, and assist in training factory personnel during production transitions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering).

• Minimum 1.5 years of professional engineering experience.

• Experience in process improvement, product testing, data analysis, and failure analysis within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Experience with inertial instruments and proficiency with engineering tools such as Minitab, Access, and MS Office Suite.

Pay Details: $52.00 to $55.00 per hour
