Remote | Software Engineer, New Grad — $180,000–$250,000/year

We are sharing a full-time opportunity for recent graduates and early-career Software Engineers with strong fundamentals in JavaScript or TypeScript and exposure to React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, cloud platforms, and modern software-development practices to build production systems across internal platforms and AI-powered products.

The role offers hands-on experience across full-stack development, backend services, frontend interfaces, databases, APIs, and production operations, with increasing ownership as technical experience grows.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Product Engineering

• Build and maintain full-stack features across frontend, backend, database, and integration layers
• Develop React-based interfaces and Node.js services
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs
• Translate product requirements into reliable production functionality
• Contribute to internal platforms, workflows, and AI-powered products

Data, Reliability & Engineering Quality

• Work with PostgreSQL and relational data models
• Contribute to schema design, query performance, testing, and documentation
• Investigate production issues and support monitoring and operational workflows
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative development practices
• Improve maintainability, reliability, and overall engineering quality

Collaboration & Technical Growth

• Work with product, operations, design, and experienced engineering teams
• Communicate technical trade-offs and contribute to feature planning
• Develop judgement around scalability, delivery speed, and long-term maintainability
• Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure, deployment workflows, and modern architecture patterns
• Progress toward ownership of increasingly critical systems and product capabilities

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Recent graduate or graduating soon
• Internship, co-op, research, academic, or meaningful personal-project experience building software
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Familiarity with React or similar frontend frameworks and Node.js backend development
• Understanding of PostgreSQL, relational databases, data modelling, and RESTful APIs
• Exposure to Git and modern software-development workflows
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn rapidly
• Experience with NestJS, AWS, GCP, Azure, CI/CD, DevOps, microservices, serverless, or event-driven systems is advantageous
• Interest in AI-powered products, automation, or data-intensive applications is valuable
• Team projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, startup experience, or professional software-engineering experience are beneficial
