Description

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for an entry-level Project Assistant to join their team on a fully remote basis. This is a great opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented self-starter to gain hands-on experience supporting real project teams, learning the fundamentals of project coordination, and building a foundation for a career in project or program management.

Day to day, you will juggle calendars, documents, and communications while keeping multiple workstreams on track. Responsibilities

  • Support project managers with scheduling, meeting coordination, and calendar management
  • Maintain and update project documentation, trackers, and shared files
  • Prepare meeting agendas and distribute accurate meeting minutes
  • Monitor project timelines and flag potential delays or risks to the team
  • Assist with compiling status reports and project dashboards
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Organize and maintain digital project folders and file systems
  • Process and track project-related invoices, purchase orders, or expenses
  • Help onboard new team members and vendors with required documentation
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the smooth running of projects

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, especially spreadsheets
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote environment
  • Comfortable learning new software tools and project management platforms
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and follow-through
  • Prior internship, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus
  • Reliable home internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace
