Remote E-commerce Specialist

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing online retail brand, for an entry-level E-commerce Specialist to join their digital team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to get hands-on experience managing online storefronts, supporting digital marketing efforts, and helping drive real revenue growth in a fast-moving remote environment.

Day to day, you will spend your time updating product listings, tracking sales performance, coordinating with marketing and fulfillment teams, and looking for small ways to improve the customer shopping experience. People who thrive in this role are detail-oriented, comfortable learning new software quickly, and excited to see how their work directly impacts online sales numbers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update product listings across the company website and third-party marketplaces
• Monitor site performance, sales trends, and key e-commerce metrics
• Assist in planning and executing online promotions and seasonal campaigns
• Coordinate with marketing team on email, social, and paid advertising content
• Respond to customer inquiries related to online orders and product questions
• Support inventory tracking and coordinate with fulfillment on stock levels
• Upload and optimize product images, descriptions, and pricing
• Assist with basic SEO updates to improve product visibility
• Help troubleshoot website issues and escalate technical problems as needed
• Compile weekly reports on traffic, conversion, and sales performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon Seller Central
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Interest in digital marketing, retail, or online business
• Familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus
• Self-motivated with reliable internet access for remote work
