Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Southern California Family Law Attorney seeking a long-term relationship with the opportunity to transition from 1099 contract status to a full-time W-2 position if it proves to be a great fit for both the attorney and the firm.
Remote work hours will vary but are expected to be approximately 10+ hours per week. While the position is primarily remote, candidates must be located in Southern California to attend occasional in-person client meetings, hearings, mediations, depositions, or other court-related proceedings when needed.

Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Manage client communications and provide legal guidance throughout the case

Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances as needed
Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines
Collaborate closely with the firm's legal team to provide high-quality client service
Attorney Requirements:
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of California
Minimum of 5+ years of family law experience
Strong experience handling divorce, child custody, support, property division, and related family law matters
Excellent legal research, drafting, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
Must be located in Southern California
Available to attend occasional in-person client meetings, hearings, mediations, and depositions when necessary
Seeking a long-term 1099 relationship with interest in potentially transitioning to a W-2 position
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple matters efficiently
Self-starter who works well independently in a remote environment
Opportunity Highlights:
Primarily remote position
Long-term contract opportunity with consistent workflow
