Job Summary:

As a Regulatory Reporting Manager within the Escheatment Department, you will oversee the end-to-end process of reporting and remitting abandoned property for JPMorgan Securities LLC. You will serve as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all reporting activities. In this role, you will coordinate large-scale operational initiatives, identify automation opportunities, and support the development of new compliance programs. You will thrive in a deadline-driven environment, leveraging your analytical skills and leadership experience to deliver results and foster a collaborative team culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process of reporting and remitting abandoned property across multiple lines of business and product types
  • Act as an intermediary between internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining critical relationships
  • Coordinate large-scale remittance of various product types to multiple states under strict regulatory deadlines
  • Utilize proprietary and industry-standard data management tools to identify and implement automation opportunities
  • Lead challenging projects, promote process streamlining, and support the career development of direct and matrix reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency for all reporting purposes

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Ability to analyze complex and ambiguous issues and recommend creative solutions
  • Must obtain Series 99 within 180 days of hire
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a focus on risk mitigation and efficiency
  • Ability to synthesize information and communicate concise messages to management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Demonstrated track record of improving processes, meeting goals, and managing competing priorities with diverse stakeholders
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Data and analytical experience, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive process improvements
  • Five or more years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in operations; management experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with automation, data analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., UiPath, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Python)
  • Escheatment experience is highly preferred
