    Job Title: Registrar Assistant - Middle School Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt

    Reports to: Campus Principal Pay Grade: PG3

    Dept./School: Assigned Campus

    Primary Purpose:

    Assist in the scheduling of students and work with the school staff in maintaining student's academic records in accordance with the established state and local guidelines.

    Qualifications:

    Education/Certification:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent or higher (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency; and
    • Fifteen (15) hours of college credit; or
    • Two (2) years of full-time work-related experience, general knowledge of routine office procedures to include customer service, telephone etiquette, efficient and effective filing and record keeping procedures.
    • Applicant must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the applicant, before continuing within the process towards possible employment.

    Major Responsibilities and Duties:

    1. Assist with student Pre-registration and registration activities.
    2. Organize and maintain all correspondence, records, and other department data in an easily retrievable fashion.
    3. Ensure accuracy in maintaining computerized data.
    4. Compile information for preparing various reports.
    5. Keep information and comply with state and district policies and regulations.
    6. Maintain and insure confidentiality of information.
    7. Document and/or report a violation to student code of conduct.
    8. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
    9. Attendance at work is an essential job function. Supervisory Responsibilities:
