A leading healthcare organization in South Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Patient Care Nurse Supervisor in the Surgical Services department on a full-time day shift.

This leadership role supports perioperative operations, staff coordination, and clinical oversight across surgical patient care units.

Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and leadership for surgical patient care units
• Coordinate staffing assignments and patient flow across surgical services
• Support perioperative nursing staff and ensure clinical readiness
• Assist with escalation of patient care issues and clinical decision-making
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Promote high-quality, patient-centered surgical care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 3 years of acute care or surgical services experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• BSN preferred or required depending on facility standards
• Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
