Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has offered quality care to the elderly
in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine and surrounding area communities. We have
become well known for that care and we continue that tradition with
pride. Since 1972, we have been in our modern 93-bed facility on the
Guilford Road in Dover-Foxcroft, and have been providing the utmost in

Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Resident Care & Assessment: Work closely with supervising physicians to assess and monitor resident needs, provide exceptional bedside care, and exhibit strong clinical skills.
- Medical Documentation: Record and track a resident’s medical history, symptoms, and vital signs, updating resident charts and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) accurately.
- Treatment & Medications: Administer medications and carry out doctor-recommended treatment plans.
- Compliance & Collaboration: Comply fully with federal, state, and local nursing regulations, standards, and facility policies while collaborating seamlessly with fellow nurses, doctors, and administrators.
Education, Licensing & Requirements
- Education: Possess an Associate (AS) or Bachelor (BS) degree in nursing (new graduates welcome!).
- Licensure: Must be currently registered and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
- CPR Certification: Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and maintain current certification throughout employment.
- Contingencies: All job offers are contingent upon receiving excellent professional references and passing the Maine State Background Check.
Skills & Abilities
- Technical Literacy: Knowledge and practical use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or solid general computer skills.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language clearly.
- Leadership Drive: Effective leadership skills and/or a strong readiness to invest in growing these crucial skills within our supportive clinical team.
