Summary:
Duration: 14 Weeks
Location: Children's Hospital Colorado @ Anschutz Medical Campus
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Responsibilities:
Provide care to pediatric patients in the Medical-Surgical unit.
Manage tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and chest tube management.
Work every other weekend as part of the scheduling requirements.
Float to units within the cohort as per company policy.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience.
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Pulmonary Pediatrics experience.
BLS and PALS certifications required.
RN licensure required.
Strong pediatric pulmonary experience is required.
Must be comfortable caring for high-acuity trach, vent, and chest tube patients.
Preferred Skills:
Previous travel experience preferred.
Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred.
Experience with ventilator-dependent pediatric populations is highly preferred.
Additional Notes:
No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
Seasonal Influenza Vaccine required; medical and religious exemptions accepted.
