    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

    Registered Nurse Manager - Emergency Room

    RN MGR - ER

    Full-Time

    Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Emergency Room opportunity will have the following job responsibilities:

    • The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services will provide coordination of day-to-day clinical operations of the Emergency Department regarding patient care, resource management, staffing, supplies & equipment. 
    • You will maintain personnel files related to orientation, competency, disciplinary actions and attendance. 
    • You will coordinate staffing schedule, perform evaluations in conjunction with Director of ED or AVP. 
    • You will coordinate community and area Emergency Medical Services and follow up on cases and report required data to ED Director or AVP. 
    • You will maintain departmental statistics and review records for quality performance issues.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

    Registered Nurse Manager - Emergency Room

    RN MGR - ER

    Full-Time

    Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Emergency Room opportunity must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

      • Needs to have 2+ years of RECENT (WITHIN THE LAST YEAR) Acute Care ER Leadership experience with 5 years of RN experience (at least 2 years in Emergency Department)
      • Pre-hospital EMS experience preferred; previous trauma coordinator preferred,
      • Leadership/Management experience preferred.
      • Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
      • Current Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted.
      • Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association required.
      • CEN, TNCC, ENPC/Pals preferred.

      • Who does this position report to? Director of the ED
      • How many total beds are in the unit? 56 beds.
      • How many FTEs will the candidate be overseeing? 50-60 direct reports. Not all full time but includes PT and PRN.
      • What additional departments are they over? None.
