Registered Nurse (RN) – Juvenile Corrections

Location: Brooktondale, NY
Facility: MacCormick Secure Center
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Contract: 6+ Months

 

Job Description

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a juvenile correctional setting. The RN will provide nursing interventions, medication administration, health assessments, and ongoing care for approximately 27 male youth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care and medication administration
  • Assess and monitor patients' overall health conditions
  • Develop, review, and evaluate nursing intervention plans
  • Maintain medication, controlled substance, and narcotics inventory
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and staff training
  • Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation
  • Follow infection control and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted New York State RN License
  • Current NYS registration to practice as an RN
  • Correctional or juvenile healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
