Registered Medical Assistant

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of physician office experience as a Medical Assistant
- Must be Certified or Registered
- EPIC EMR experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills
Responsibilities: - Verify patient information, take medical histories, and record vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations, assist healthcare providers during procedures
- Administer medications and injections as ordered
- Schedule appointments, tests, and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records and handle patient communications
- Ensure clinical environment is sterile, organized, and compliant with OSHA, HIPAA, and office policies
- Support administrative tasks including prior authorizations, pharmacy refills, and insurance verifications
