Opportunity Overview

This is an established California roofing contractor with an existing footprint north of the target market and several operating locations across its core territory.

The business runs commercial and residential work, including service and repair, reroof and replacement, new construction, metal roofing and single-ply systems, for homeowners, general contractors, developers and institutional clients.

Commercial projects span hotels, multifamily, education and government work.

Built as a family business over several decades, it was recently acquired by private equity, adding financial, operational and integration support to an experienced leadership team.

The growth plan combines organic expansion and acquisitions with selective entry into new territories, of which this market is the immediate priority.

Your Role

• Establish the business in a new territory and own how it is built
• \n
• Develop general contractor, consultant and building owner relationships across the local market
• \n
• Win service and project work, using existing estimating support to price and scope
• \n
• Identify local labor, subcontractors and the first permanent hires
• \n
• Build enough revenue and pipeline to justify a permanent local team
• \n
• Move from market builder into regional leadership as the territory grows
• \n

Key Requirements

• \n
• Commercial roofing background across sales, service, operations or project management
• \n
• Established relationships in the Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Santa Clarita or northern LA markets
• \n
• Track record of winning and delivering work with limited local infrastructure
• \n
• Comfortable wearing several hats through the early stage
• \n
