    This individual will report to the Vice President of Sales with a dotted line to the Vice President of Marketing. As Regional Manager, you will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the regional network of retailer operations. The role will support the dealership network and ensure that best business practices are adhered to. This role is the main point of contact for the dealership in all commercial related functions.

    This person will consult with the dealerships to ensure that customer, wholesale, retail and brand objectives are achieved.

    What You'll Do

    § Support, develop and drive sales results (allocation, wholesale & retail) for both new and pre-owned vehicles with assigned retailers to meet corporate retail, wholesale and business objectives.

    § Develop strong commercial relationships with Retailer senior management, staff and investors to ensure they are fully aligned with McLaren business strategy.

    § Conduct data and KPl-driven in-person and supplemental video conference meetings with dealer to support McLaren business objectives.

    § Performance-manage assigned retailers in sales and marketing activities with the effective use of KPl's, as well as competitive and market data.

    § Coach and develop retailer staff in line with McLaren requirements to deliver an exceptional McLaren customer experience.

    § Coach and lead Retailers to effectively utilise the "McLaren Insight" CSI and NPS system to monitor and improve customer sentiment.

    § Complete a regular contact report upon each dealership visit.

    § Develop and implement action plans, in cooperation with retailers, to correct any deficiencies against the standards.

    § Oversee dealer audits in alignment with the Network Development Manager.

    § Partner with the Regional Aftersales Manager to jointly manage retail performance and customer experience.

    § Drive retailer's effective usage of the McLaren certified pre-owned programme.

    § Act as the main communications link between the dealer and the national Marketing team.

    § Review relevant marketing communications with the dealer and take feedback

    / requests to the internal team.

    § In partnership with the America's Marketing team, drive inspirational marketing activation plans by quarter to generate exposure, demand, and loyalization.

    § Ensure that dealer marketing plans are being produced in line with deadlines.

    § Champion and lead the effective utilisation of Retailer CRM systems.

    § Collaborate with VP Marketing and CRM role to determine the data/ CRM / Customer Journey strategy at each dealer.

    § In alignment with Marketing team, review and investigate any dealer marketing guideline infractions and determine consequences.

    § Review marketing requests for fleet vehicles, personnel support, and co-op funding with the relevant marketing team member(s) to determine how to progress the request.

    § Assist the Marketing team and dealership in aspects of major events at the dealer level.

    What You'll Bring

    § Minimum Bachelor's degree.

    § Minimum of 5+ years' experience in automotive OEM sales.

    § Experienced leader of sales teams within the automotive industry.

    § Demonstrable experience of commercial, cultural and finance awareness.

    § Strategic thinker who can build long term & robust business plans.

    § Decisive and able to make tough business decisions.

    § Ability to demonstrate effective leadership.

    § Clear understanding of the business objectives.

    § Self-motivated, creative and structured problem-solving ability.

    § Well-developed negotiation and interpersonal skills.

    § Strong leadership and communications skills (written and verbal).

    § Proven skills to analyse dealer representation in the marketplace.

    § Detail oriented with excellent project management and organizational skill set.

    § Ability to bring creative ideas, solutions and translate them into actions.

    § Demonstrates superior adaptability to different and changing situations.

    § Natural love for, and curiosity about, cars, the automotive marketplace, and future trends.

    § Flexibility to travel to the regional office in the region, retailers, and head office in England when suitable.
