About Our Client

Our client is a diversified global manufacturing organization that supports many leading industrial and consumer-focused companies worldwide. Their products play a critical role in keeping manufacturing operations, supply chains, automation systems, and transportation networks running efficiently. Combining the resources and stability of a large international business with the collaborative environment of a leaner operation, the company offers strong career development opportunities alongside a high-performing work environment. This position serves as the senior-most HR leader for two unionized manufacturing facilities in Western Massachusetts, representing a workforce of more than 500 employees. Acting as a strategic partner to site leadership, the role oversees a broad range of HR functions including employee and labor relations, investigations, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, compliance, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will be a hands-on HR professional who is equally comfortable driving strategic initiatives and managing day-to-day operational challenges. The role requires a strong presence on the manufacturing floor, building credibility with employees and leaders while providing guidance on business strategy, talent management, and organizational growth. Deep employee relations expertise is required, and experience working within a unionized environment is strongly preferred.
