SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.Regional Facilities Manager The position reports to the National Operations Manager and works closely with the Head of Estates and the FM Helpdesk team to implement and control the strategies defined for FM (both hard & soft services) and property maintenance. The role will be expected to work autonomously in the day-to-day management of the facilities management function. Working within the FM & Procurement governance structure they have established with regular checkpoints to the department head in the form of monthly reporting tools.What you will be doing:Accountability and responsibility for ensuring that statutory obligations are metManaging reactive tasks in conjunction with branch and the helpdesk teamCo-ordinate and control project works within the designated regionBe a point of contact for branch management regarding the siteProactive communication with all stakeholders.To actively promote and maintain a positive health, safety, and wellbeing cultureUndertake small works specifications and manage through to completion.Report to relevant stakeholders on all property related topics.What you will bring:Has at least 3 years' experience in the field of Operations, Maintenance or Facilities Management. Has a proven track record in managing relationships at all levels and with ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level.
