Position Summary
The successful Regional Admissions Director will lead Freed-Hardeman University's recruitment efforts throughout Texas, cultivating relationships with prospective students, families, churches, schools, counselors, and other key stakeholders while helping grow the university's presence and influence across the state. The position may also support recruitment initiatives in other assigned territories as needed. The Regional Admissions Director will assist prospective students through the enrollment process from inquiry or application to enrollment or cancellation while providing a first-class Freed-Hardeman experience and advancing the university's strategic enrollment goals.

Location, Office Hours, and On-Campus Responsibilities
Location: This position is remote
Office Hours: This employee is responsible for 40 hours per week
The employee should generally be available during regular business hours (MTWRF from 8am-5pm) for student and staff conversations and meetings

This position may supervise interns, work-study students, and/or volunteers in student groups. This position may supervise social media and website content.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year accredited college or university, or two-to-four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Internet software and email. An intermediate level of ability in Excel, Word, and either PowerPoint or Keynote.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to promote a positive image of Freed-Hardeman University. Knowledge of the collegiate admissions process.
