About the Facility
Level IV Trauma Center
18-bed emergency department with approximately 22,000 annual visits
Physicians see approximately 1.7 patients per hour with an 11% admission rate
Supported by 26 hours of daily physician coverage and 20 hours of APC coverage
EMR: MediTech
Robust specialty backup including anesthesiology, cardiology, ENT, gynecology, hematology/oncology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, and more
Leadership Opportunity
Assistant facility medical director role with dedicated administrative responsibilities
Partner closely with the facility medical director to support departmental operations, physician engagement, quality initiatives, patient experience, and overall emergency department performance
Help mentor physicians and APCs while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered culture

Position Details
W2 employed position
Base rate + RVU compensation model
Additional monthly administrative stipend

Candidate Requirements
ABEM board certified
Minimum of two years of post-residency EM experience preferred
Prior leadership experience preferred but not required
Active clinical practice within the last 12 months
ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (expired certifications accepted)
