The Recruiting Coordinator supporting University Recruiting provides critical operational, administrative, and logistical support to the Talent Acquisition team. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless recruiting operations, maintaining high levels of professionalism, and delivering an exceptional experience for early-career candidates. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $17.86/hour (Paid weekly)
Location: Hybrid – Downtown Columbus Plaza One location (Columbus, OH)
Work Schedule: Hybrid (Required in-office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Candidate Experience: Represent the organization professionally and provide a positive, welcoming experience to each candidate throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Interview Coordination: Schedule candidate interviews and ensure hiring teams receive all required materials, including candidate resumes and interview schedules, prior to meetings.
Logistics & Travel: Manage candidate travel arrangements, greet candidates upon arrival, and process travel expense reimbursements.
Event Management: Register for university recruiting events, prepare career fair materials, and manage the logistics of shipping materials to event sites.
Job Board Maintenance: Post and maintain current job descriptions on external diversity and campus job boards.
Onboarding & Compliance: Facilitate the pre-employment onboarding process within Workday, including administering confidential background checks, licensing, and processing I-9 documentation.
Financial Administration: Process, track, review, and approve departmental invoices.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members on research, process improvement initiatives, and special project work.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to other coordinators or team members regarding recruiting procedures, processes, and services as needed.
General Support: Perform other duties and operational responsibilities as assigned.
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Typically requires three (3) or more years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or general office administration.
Proven experience managing complex calendars and using collaboration software while supporting multiple professionals.
Systems Proficiency: Prior experience or familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), specifically Workday and Fieldglass, is highly preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Familiarity with the specialized career paths and needs of insurance or financial services operations is preferred.
Operational Skills: Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and sharp prioritization skills.
Communication: Proven written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptability: A collaborative approach with the ability to remain flexible and resilient in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Reports to the Manager or Director of Talent Acquisition.
