The Recruiting Coordinator will support the full-cycle recruitment process by prescreening candidates, coordinating interviews and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience. This role is critical to creating a positive candidate experience, helping hiring managers quickly identify qualified applicants, and attracting top talent to Mercy Housing.

English/Spanish bilingual candidates preferred.

Location: 1600 Broadway Denver, CO 80202

Hybrid Schedule: Generally 1 day per week in-office required, 4 days remote (after successful completion of in-person training period). Occasional need for more frequent in-person presence (hiring events, job fairs, staff meetings, etc.)

Pay: $25.71-27/hour, depending on experience

What Youll Do

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, colleagues, applicants, administrative staff, and others.
  • Advise hiring managers on the best method/medium for sourcing candidates.
  • Provide feedback to hiring manager on recruiting activity and challenges being faced.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates across multiple time zones.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, confirming details and providing updates on the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Work with local and regional community partnerships through job fairs, workforce centers, technical schools, community colleges, universities, etc.
  • Post job openings on internal and external job boards, social media, and company website.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) data integrity and ensure all candidate records are up to date.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing offer letters and coordinating background checks and pre-employment requirements.

What Were Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years in a human resources role.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systemsand scheduling tools (e.g., Outlook, Google Calendar, Calendly).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years experience in recruiting or onboarding.
  • UKG experience.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong attention to detail, accurate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and prioritize when necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ATS.
