To drive talent acquisition and build our long-term talent pipeline for our precision aerospace CNC machining facility. In this role, you will lead full-lifecycle technical recruiting while actively developing local educational partnerships, helping establish and managing our apprenticeship program, and partnering with internal management and external agencies. Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of talent acquisition experience, ideally within a manufacturing, machining, engineering, or industrial trade environment
- Basic understanding of precision manufacturing roles (e.g., CNC milling/turning, multi-axis machining, GD&T, CMM inspection) to effectively screen candidates
- Proven ability to build networks with local educators, trade schools, and community workforce development programs
- Experience coordinating or managing apprenticeship, internship, or technical training programs is a strong plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage comfortably with high school students, technical experts, shop floor employees, and executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience/associate degree with industrial background)
- Understand the local market, to be invovled to continue to build a pipeline of candidates
Responsibilities:
- Lead full-lifecycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles, including CNC Machinists, Programmers, Quality Inspectors, Engineers, and Shop Floor Support
- Source candidates using direct outreach, job boards, industry networks, and local recruitment events
- Screen applicants, coordinate interview loops, and partner with hiring managers to select top talent aligned with modern aerospace quality standards
- Serve as the primary liaison to local technical colleges, trade schools, and high schools to introduce students to careers in aerospace manufacturing
- Help establish, maintain, continuously improve, and expand our state- or company-sponsored CNC Apprenticeship Program
- Manage onboarding, orientation, and integration of new hires into the company culture
- Assist with day-to-day HR tasks as needed (e.g., employee relations, administrative recordkeeping, training, logistics, and benefits support)
Compensation:
This Salary position offers a pay range of $75,000 to $82,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to pay transparency and ensuring fair compensation based on market standards for similar roles within our company.
