Phoenix Recovery Support Services is hiring Weekend Recovery Coaches for our recovery residences. Recovery Coaches help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive living environment while encouraging residents in their recovery.
-Offer peer support through active listening, encouragement, and appropriate sharing of your lived experience.
-Monitor resident activity and complete walkthroughs to help maintain a safe, clean residence.
-Welcome new residents and explain house rules, routines, and community expectations.
-Support daily operations, including resident movement tracking, shift documentation, and other assigned tasks.
-Conduct or assist with testing and observe resident self-administration of medication when assigned, following Phoenix procedures.
-Promptly communicate resident concerns, incidents, and safety issues to the appropriate supervisor.
-A high school diploma or equivalent.
-Stable personal recovery from a substance use disorder and willingness to identify as a person in recovery and appropriately share that experience in a peer support role.
-Strong communication skills, reliability, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
-Experience in recovery housing or peer support is preferred but not required.
