Company Summary

Our client is an established commercial real estate investment manager with more than 25 years of history and over $23 billion in assets under management across debt and equity strategies. The firm invests across all major property types on behalf of an institutional investor base that includes pensions, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds. It is known for disciplined underwriting, institutional-grade operations, and a data-driven culture.

Position Summary

This role is the dedicated systems owner for the firm's equity asset management technology stack. Reporting to the VP of Business Applications, the person administers and supports the equity application platforms, leads hands-on data ingestion and validation work, and plays a central role in evaluating and implementing a new equity asset management platform. The ideal candidate pairs functional fluency in a real estate property management system with hands-on application administration and a strong data orientation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day administration, configuration, and support for the equity application stack (Argus, Chatham, and other systems), including user accounts, roles, and permissions
  • Help lead the evaluation and implementation of a new equity asset management platform, defining requirements, assessing vendors, and supporting selection, UAT, and rollout
  • Serve as the point of contact for the pro forma extraction and asset-level data initiatives, managing data flows with vendors and internal users
  • Ingest, normalize, and validate sponsor-provided actuals and other data against source materials, flagging and resolving discrepancies
  • Extract and interpret third-party PMS data to support equity AM workflows including budgets, actuals, and quarterly reporting
  • Document workflows, process flows, data mappings, and user guides, and contribute to the technology roadmap for equity platforms

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a systems, business analyst, or technology role at a real estate firm
  • Functional fluency in a real estate property management system (Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or Entrata); hands-on system administration a plus
  • Hands-on application administration and data ingestion, normalization, and validation experience; Argus preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and reporting when needed; ETL or API exposure a strong differentiator
  • Experience supporting a software evaluation or platform implementation preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management; able to translate between business users and technical teams
  • Highly organized and self-directed, comfortable owning platforms with limited oversight; bachelor's degree
