    Aspen Careers is partnering with a highly respected, full-service law firm to identify an experienced Legal Assistant to support its Real Estate and Business practice in Columbus, Ohio.     Job Title: Legal Assistant – Real Estate & Business

    Location: Columbus, OH | Hybrid – One flexible remote day per week

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Prior experience handling real estate closings from initiation through completion.

    • Experience with title work and real estate transaction documentation.

    • Approximately 2+ years of legal experience is preferred, but strong real estate closing experience may substitute for traditional law firm experience.

    • Candidates coming from a title company, corporate legal department, or similar real estate-focused environment are encouraged to apply.

    • Experience preparing or assisting with contracts, deeds, leases, and transactional documents.

    • Familiarity with online deed filing systems is a plus.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.

    • Comfortable supporting multiple attorneys with different work styles and priorities.

    • Self-sufficient, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively without micromanagement.

    • A collaborative, professional approach and strong cultural fit are especially important.
