Real Estate Attorney

New Gig solutions has partnered with a well-established, multi-office U.S. law firm is looking to add an experienced associate to one of the largest and most active commercial real estate practices in the Western U.S., based in Los Angeles. The firm has spent decades building a reputation among corporate and institutional clients for deep technical skill paired with hands-on, relationship-first service, and its real estate group regularly guides clients through large-scale, complex deals from start to finish.

This is a confidential search. We're looking for a candidate with 3-5 years of substantive commercial real estate experience to join the team in Los Angeles; full firm details are shared with qualified candidates after an initial conversation.

The Role -

• Representing sophisticated clients across the full lifecycle of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development, and joint ventures
• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and joint venture agreements
• Conducting title and survey review, due diligence, and closings on complex, high-value deals
• Coordinating with lenders, developers, investors, and other stakeholders on transactions nationwide
• Collaborating closely with senior attorneys while taking on meaningful ownership of matters

The Right Fit -

• 3-5 years of substantive commercial real estate experience at a law firm, ideally including real estate finance, leasing, development, and joint venture work
• Comfort working with sophisticated market participants on complex, high-value transactions
• Superb drafting skills and strong analytical and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent academic credentials and a J.D. from an accredited law school
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team-based environment
• Active California bar membership, or eligibility to obtain promptly, preferred
