RE-LITE is acronym for Omega CDC's Core Values. RE-LITE NITE is a program by Omega CDC and Hope Zone Promise Neighborhood partners to provide safe, engaging spaces for 100+ youth in the Hope Zone. Programming will be held at the Premier YMCA and Bethesda Temple Church, with potential expansion in the Fall of 2026. Supported by the Promise Neighborhood grant, The Charles D. Berry Foundation, City of Dayton, and CERO (Community Engagement of Religious Organizations) leaders, the initiative aims to boost school attendance, reduce community violence, and foster youth leadership through a Teen Ambassador effort.
The Site Coordinator demonstrates experiences and actions that reflect commitment to the Omega CDC mission and core values. This position shows a sense of urgency and relentless pursuit of significant student safety and sense of belonging while promoting school attendance, academic attainment and positive decision making for youth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The RE-LITE Site Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and program oversight of RE-LITE programming and activities located at designated locations. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead the implementation of programming designed to engage middle school and high school students, working collaboratively with community partners, other Omega CDC program staff, and members of the Community Engagement Religious Organization (CERO) coalition
Continually work with high school attendees to refine and adapt programming in alignment with the activities youth identify.
Collaborate with all key stakeholders to enhance instruction and programming
Participate in the evaluation of programming to include outreach, attendance, participation rates, satisfaction surveys.
Collect and disseminate program evaluation data to funders, partners and Omega CDC staff.
Monitor and maintain attendance expectations for participation in programming.
Record service deliveries and attendance in salesforce.
Maintain safety of all participants by assuring security is in place, all spaces are monitored by staff/volunteers and bags are checked upon entry.
Attend all required CERO, Partner and Omega CDC
Work closely with the Hope Zone team, Family Resource Coordinators, and Student Success Navigators and report to the Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives
Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to secure community volunteers to provide program support, activities, and supervision.
Collaborate with school and community partners who provide needed services to all RE-LITE participants.
Follow all required finance policies for the procurement of supplies and equipment
Oversee the day-to-day services of the security team.
Support planned learning, recreational, enrichment and social activities to ensure that they are aligned with the goal of creating safe spaces.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Associate degree, Bachelors preferred.
Experience in team leadership, training, supervision, and evaluation of assigned
3-5 years' experience in working with youth in school or community
Administrativeexperienceincludingfiscal
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple
Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate community
Computer skills include experience in word processing, spreadsheets, database programs and
