Our client, a Global provider of electronic design and test solutions, is looking for a R&D Engineer for their Santa Rosa, CA location. Monitor process performance metrics, yield, and quality data, and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.

Our client, a Global provider of electronic design and test solutions, is looking for a R&D Engineer for their Santa Rosa, CA location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support across PMTC Wet Process & Assembly operations.  (Assembly, Heat Treat, Forming, Electroplating, Chemical Milling)
• Develop, characterize, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Plan and run experiments, then analyze the data and report results with recommendations.
• Troubleshoot process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support equipment and tooling qualification, including installation, validation, and process capability studies.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and process specifications.
• Monitor process performance metrics, yield, and quality data, and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Evaluate new materials, equipment, and technologies for process capability and fit.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain)

 
Requirements:

• Experience with Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Root Cause Analysis
• Statistical Analysis, Metrology, and Design
• BS Engineering
