Quality Supervisor - A Shift

Quality Supervisor is a hands-on, working leadership role responsible for the safe, timely and accurate execution of project requirements, quality standards and customer deliverables. The QS is expected to be fully committed to the assigned role and project, lead by example, work side-by-side with the team when needed, and requires a servant-leadership mindset, strong work ethic, sound judgment, adaptability and the ability to lead calmy and professionally in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.  Location of job site is Draexlmaier, 1751 East Main Street, Duncan, SC.

Supervise team activities, training, coaching, mentorship, accountability and support team members.
Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
Communicate with team and address performance issues, staffing, quality, safety, attendance, schedule, production and escalation concerns, including Regional Account Manager/Project Manager and Operations Manager.
Create work instructions, smart sheet data collection web forms and smart sheets and work with continual improvement team to create data dashboards.
Prepare and submit reports
Act as working supervisor, filling in when needed to do same work as those you are supervising
Multi-task, make sound decisions under pressure
Use tools, including power and hand tools for inspections, disassembling, repairs and reassembling.
Use smart phones/tablets to ensure accurate documentation of quality checklists
Keep work area clean and tools accounted for and properly stored
Lead shift meetings to discuss project updates, safety and HR matters
Manage team schedule and oversee headcount
Implement corrective actions for safety  incidents and disciplinary issues
Liaise with client representatives, provide timely status updates, requests, risks, changes and escalations
Must be available to work sic (6) days per week when needed, including overtime, weekends, extended shifts
Lots of walking and going up and down stairs
