Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager/Weld Inspector to join our team in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies to enhance product quality.
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and drive quality initiatives.
Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in welding technology.
Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
Experience as a Quality Manager or Weld Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and quality standards (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred.
Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CWI, CWE) is preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
