    Quality Assurance Supervisor – 2nd Shift



    Salary $75,000 - $95,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the East Coast

We’re looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead QA and laboratory employees, maintain high-quality standards, and help build a culture of continuous improvement in a food processing plant. Highly visible position.



    Ideally, you have a BS Food Science and certifications in PCQI, HACCP, and/or SQF Practitioner. Great job to have while you finish your degree or study for certifications.



    What you'll do as the Quality Assurance Supervisor:



    • Supervise, coach, train, and develop QA and laboratory employees.

    • Support and maintain food safety and quality programs, procedures, and documentation.

    • Oversee quality testing, inspections, laboratory records, CCPs, PCs, and environmental monitoring.

    • Investigate quality issues and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

    • Support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.

    • Maintain certifications including SQF, Kosher, Halal, and Organic.

    • Partner with operations to improve product quality, reduce rework and downtime, and resolve recurring issues.

    • Monitor quality data and use SPC tools to identify and address unfavorable trends.

    • Help ensure compliance with GMPs, regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and customer expectations.



    Minimum requirements for this Quality Assurance Supervisor:



    • Minimum of 2 years of quality assurance in manufacturing of food beverage.

    • Demonstrated leadership or team leadership experience.

    • Knowledge of laboratory and plant cGMPs.

    • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

    • Ability to adapt quickly, take initiative, and professionally handle challenging situations.
