Position: QA Tester - Oracle Fusion Financials & EPM

Location: New Jersey - Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester with hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). The QA Tester will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting QA activities to ensure the quality and integrity of Oracle Fusion and EPM implementations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents for Oracle Fusion Financials and EPM modules.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts, both manual and automated where applicable.

• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing for Oracle Financials modules, including:

• General Ledger (GL)

• Accounts PClientble (AP)

• Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Fixed Assets (FA)

• Cash Management

• Procurement

• Order Management

• Inventory

• Projects

• Contracts

• Conduct testing for Oracle EPM components, including:

• Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS)

• Financial Consolidation and Close

• Profitability and Cost Management

• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA.

• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business users to resolve defects and validate fixes.

• Validate data migration, financial reports, integrations with third-party systems, and security configurations.

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile activities as applicable.

• Ensure testing activities are completed on schedule and meet established quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4+ years of QA/testing experience.
• 3+ years of experience focused on Oracle Fusion Financials and/or Oracle EPM.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and terminology.
• Experience working with Oracle Cloud environments and upgrades.
• Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools such as JIRA, Client ALM, TestRail, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, OATS, or Oracle testing tools.
• Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Studio.
• Basic SQL skills for data validation.
• Understanding of SOX compliance and audit processes.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB or similar QA/testing certification.
