Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, UI/API testing, and automation framework enhancement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, Python, Cucumber BDD, Selenium, Java, REST API, and DB2 testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites.

• Build automation scripts for web UI, APIs, and backend validation.

• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Python, Java, and Cucumber BDD.

• Develop test strategies, scenarios, test data, and contingency plans.

• Plan and execute test cases, manage defects, and provide test status and release sign-offs.

• Perform REST API functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Conduct database testing, including SQL validation and data reconciliation.

• Validate batch jobs, file/data handoffs, and end-to-end workflows.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies as a quality advocate.

• Identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.

• Work with tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Teams, and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8 12 years of QA/Test Automation experience.

• Strong Playwright automation experience.

• Strong Python and/or Java programming skills.

• Hands-on Selenium experience.

• Strong Cucumber BDD experience.

• REST API automation and testing.

• DB2/database testing experience.

• Automation framework enhancement and maintenance.

• UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong defect management and test reporting skills.

• Experience with Jira, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools.
