Description

QA Analyst
We are hiring a QA Analyst for our client. The person hired for this position will support and maintain Background Record Check (BRC) applications, with responsibilities spanning functional testing, production support, and user support.

The QA Analyst will work closely with application and support teams to ensure system reliability, data integrity, and a positive user experience for both internal and external users.

This is a hybrid position (1 day / week in office) in the Everett, MA, area. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to this location. 

Please note: No C2C, Subcontracting or Visa Sponsorship of any kind is available for this position. 
Responsibilities
  • Perform functional and quality assurance testing to ensure applications meet established requirements and standards.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Create complex test data for application and document testing.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Work closely with application development and support teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Utilize SQL to validate data and support testing and troubleshooting activities.
  • Perform automated testing using established tools and techniques.
  • Use JIRA/Xray for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Analyze complex workflows and recommend process and system improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve current testing procedures and develop recommendations for future configurations.
  • Provide support to Contact Center and Background Record Check staff as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
  • Strong experience with SQL.
  • Experience with JIRA, including Xray.
  • Knowledge of automated testing techniques and tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to create and execute detailed test cases and test data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively with application development, support, and business teams.
Pay $50.70 - 54.40 / hour W2 depending on experience
