Python Developer

Location: within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC - 3 to 4 days on site mandatory in a week

Pay Range: $65-$70/Hr.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 from Day 1

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Full Stack Developer with a strong background in Capital Markets / Investment Banking applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Python development, modern web technologies, quantitative data analysis, and front-office application development.

This role involves designing and developing high-performance applications used by trading, risk, and business teams while collaborating closely with stakeholders across global financial markets.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience using object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong Python development experience.
• 7+ years of experience developing and supporting front-office applications within banking or financial services environments.
• 7+ years of experience in quantitative development, analytics, or data-driven application development.
• 7+ years of experience building RESTful services and modern full-stack applications.
• Strong experience with ReactJS and related frontend technologies.
• Experience working with both relational and object-oriented databases.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience working with large volumes of business-critical financial data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fixed Income products and trading workflows.
• Experience developing risk management, pricing, or valuation applications.
• Exposure to trade surveillance, compliance monitoring, or market conduct systems.
• Experience within Global Markets, Capital Markets, or Trading environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
