Location: New Britain, CT
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM-4:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Pay: $35-$45/hour, flexible based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing/Procurement professional for an immediate opportunity. This individual will support day-to-day purchasing, bidding, procurement, and contract administration activities.

Responsibilities

• 
  

• Manage purchasing and procurement activities across the organization

  
  
• 
  

• Coordinate job bids and ensure required municipal bidding procedures are followed

  
  
• 
  

• Solicit, obtain, and review vendor bids and pricing

  
  
• 
  

• Support contract administration and related documentation

  
  
• 
  

• Manage commodity procurement

  
  
• 
  

• Ensure purchasing activities comply with established government and municipal procedures

  
  
• 
  

• Work with internal departments and vendors throughout the purchasing process

  
  
• 
  

• Maintain accurate purchasing, bid, and contract documentation

  
  
• 
  

Requirements

• 
  

• Purchasing or procurement experience required

  
  
• 
  

• Knowledge of government bidding and procurement processes

  
  
• 
  

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  
  
• 
  

• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments, vendors, and stakeholders

  
  
• 
  

• Patient, collaborative, and able to jump in and take ownership of responsibilities

  
  
•
