Psychiatrist - Psych Adult

Summary:

Duration: Approximately 3 weeks from tentative selection through 12/31/2030

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: New York's Southern Tier

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Manage medication and prescribe psychotropic medications
• Conduct case reviews and participate in treatment team meetings
• Admit patients from hospitals, ERs, and CPEPs
• Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies
• Participate in Clinical Reviews, Forensic Reviews, AOTs, TOOs, and 2PC paperwork
• Manage approximately 20 patients
• Complete documentation per company/OMH requirements
• Attend daily morning hand-off meetings

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry (ABPN)
• Active New York Medical License
• Must successfully complete company Credentialing & Privileging Process
• Willingness to cover all inpatient units if participating in on-call coverage

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in adult inpatient psychiatry
