The Provider Relationship Manager serves as the primary contact for in-network provider groups, focusing on building strong relationships, resolving operational issues, and enhancing network performance to improve member experience.
Responsibilities include conducting provider visits, addressing member access and billing concerns, monitoring performance metrics, supporting onboarding, and collaborating with internal teams such as contracting and care management.
Qualifications require 5+ years in provider relations, network operations, or practice management, with strong communication, organizational, and travel readiness skills. Preferred experience includes regional or startup health plans and data literacy.
Success is measured by provider satisfaction, reduced complaints, claim and authorization improvements, and network retention.
