Proposal ManagerThis position is Remote and can be based anywhere within USA. MD/DC/VA area is preferred.Can you navigate the shark-infested waters of federal proposal management and come back with the win?Axiom Consultants is an award-winning, woman-owned small business that helps federal agencies solve their toughest missions, and we are looking for a Proposal Manager who thrives under deadline pressure and turns complex solicitations into winning proposals.As our Proposal Manager, you will lead and manage all phases of the proposal development process in response to U.S. government requests for proposals (RFPs). You will help identify proposal opportunities; manage all aspects of proposal preparation, revision, and submission; and orchestrate inputs from the technical, management, and finance teams. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with Axiom leadership and customer project teams, including subject matter experts, developers, and project managers, to deliver compliant, compelling, and on-time proposals. Shark Hunters and Proposal Managers, please read on.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Owns all bids and proposals, including RFI's, RFQ's, RFP's (RFx's), and a variety of informal requests for product and project informationLeads proposal development for oral presentations. Coordinates with teams for scripting, storyboarding, slide development, and rehearsal of the presentation team. Knowledge of government contract types, GSA and FAR preferredExtensive understanding of capture plans and proposal processAPMP certification (Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional) or Shipley training preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office suite such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project, and MS Teams, as well as proposal/capture management tools. Expert at delivering high-quality management and technical proposal volumesAbility to work with executive leadership throughout the proposal processEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience7+ years' experience managing and leading U.S. federal government proposals, including full-lifecycle proposal management (not merely proposal writing/development alone).
