Property Maintenance Technician

Job Duties: -Perform routine maintenance and repairs across apartments and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, and unit turnovers. -Support overall property operations through preventative inspections, seasonal maintenance, safety compliance, vendor coordination, and participation in emergency on-call services.

Apartment Maintenance Technician

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ
Shift: 8:30am - 4pm


Job Duties:
-Perform routine maintenance and repairs across apartments and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, and unit turnovers.
-Respond quickly to resident service requests and complete work orders efficiently to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.
-Prepare vacant units for new residents by conducting inspections, repairs, cleaning, and make-ready improvements.
-Support overall property operations through preventative inspections, seasonal maintenance, safety compliance, vendor coordination, and participation in emergency on-call services.



Job Requirements:

-Minimum 2 years of experience with property maintenance and apartment turnovers; knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general construction.
-Skilled in safely operating hand and power tools, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with residents, vendors, and team members.
-High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have the ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, walking around the property, and climbing ladders.
- Background check and drug screening required prior to starting work.
