Property Maintenance Tech

Overview Express Employment Professionals is hiring Property Maintenance Technicians, one in Tyler, TX and one in Athens, TX. You'll keep residential properties in good shape and make sure residents have working heat and A/C. If you're handy, reliable, and like solving problems, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including A/C, heat pumps, and furnaces.
• Handle refrigerant safely and to EPA standards.
• Do general maintenance and repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Complete resident work orders quickly and professionally.
• Get vacant units ready for move-in.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment, and do preventive maintenance.
• Fix or replace appliances, fixtures, locks, and doors.
• Keep the property safe, clean, and up to code.
• Take on-call shifts for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Required: an EPA Section 608 certification or a Texas HVAC license.
• 1+ years of property, apartment, or building maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Able to troubleshoot and work on your own.
• Good customer service skills with residents.
• Your own basic hand tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics and outdoors.
• Willing to work on-call rotations.
