Description

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Property Book Administrator in Tampa, Florida for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will provide hands-on supply, logistics, and government property-management support at MacDill AFB. The role focuses on property accountability, physical inventory, hand-receipt management, DoD property systems, shipping and receiving, and lifecycle tracking of government equipment.

Required Skills

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required to start.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent military supply experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in military supply operations, warehouse logistics, property book management, or a related function.
  • Expert-level proficiency with DoD property-accountability systems, specifically DPAS and/or GCSS-Army.
  • Experience maintaining government property books and accountable-property records.
  • Experience conducting physical, cyclic, wall-to-wall, and sensitive-item inventories.
  • Experience validating serial numbers, National Stock Numbers (NSNs), part numbers, and associated property records.
  • Experience managing hand receipts, sub-hand receipts, temporary loans, and component listings.
  • Knowledge of military property-accountability procedures and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements.
  • Experience researching missing, damaged, or destroyed government property.
  • Experience supporting shipping, receiving, storage, and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse environments as required.

Preferred Skills

  • Military supply experience such as Army 92Y/92A, Navy Logistics Specialist, Air Force supply/logistics experience, or comparable military occupational experience.
  • Experience preparing Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) documentation.
  • Experience managing government property throughout the asset lifecycle from acquisition through disposition.

What You’ll Do

  • Populate, update, and maintain official property-accountability databases.
  • Track government equipment and assets from acquisition through disposition.
  • Conduct physical, wall-to-wall, cyclic, and sensitive-item inventories.
  • Reconcile physical inventory against system records.
  • Verify serial numbers, NSNs, part numbers, quantities, and associated documentation.
  • Generate and track sub-hand receipts, temporary loans, and component listings.
  • Maintain accountability records for equipment assigned to individual users.
  • Physically receive, store, issue, and track equipment, tactical gear, and supplies.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify packing documentation.
  • Coordinate outgoing shipments and equipment movement.
  • Support storage-yard and warehouse operations.
  • Research missing, damaged, or destroyed property.
  • Prepare draft FLIPL documentation for government review and adjudication.
  • Maintain property records in accordance with military and federal requirements.
  • Provide technical and administrative property-management support while designated government personnel retain final signature and financial accountability authority.

Work Schedule / Shift

  • Full-time onsite at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida.
  • 5/40 work schedule.
  • First shift.

Pay

  • $38.00–$47.00 per hour.
