Description

Coastline Equity is hiring someone to join our Accounting team and take primary responsibility for income, receipts, deposits, receivables, and the administrative work that keeps those records current.

The day-to-day work includes reviewing and documenting receipts, keeping assigned aging and delinquency follow-up current, researching differences, organizing accounting mail, maintaining assigned Section 8/HUD and vendor-compliance records, and preparing clean handoffs for month-end. You will also learn a small amount of AP backup work after you are trained and certified. This is not a combined AP/AR position, and you will not own payment approval, bank-reconciliation signoff, journal entries, distributions, client-fund decisions, or final close.

You will report to Lauren Luna, our Controller, and work closely with Rebecca "Becca" Martin, our Accounting Lead. We care about accurate records, early communication, and leaving work in a condition the next person can understand. When the facts do not tie out, the right response is to document the gap and get it to the right reviewer rather than guess.

This is an Accounting position with defined DRE-approved duties under Coastline Equity's responsible-broker supervision. It is not a commission-sales position.

We are open to a junior candidate with solid transferable experience, good judgment, and the ability to learn a structured process.

Willingness to learn AppFolio and follow Coastline Equity's Accounting procedures and control boundaries.

Benefits

Full-time, hourly, non-exempt role.

$20-$24 per hour, based on experience.

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
