Job Details
Position: Corporate Legal Assistant
Location: Century City, CA
Employment Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: 5 days per week onsite during the first 30 days; thereafter, 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week
Base Salary: $90,000–$105,000
What You'll Do
Prepare, revise, format, proofread, and redline corporate and transactional documents and correspondence.
Prepare correspondence and legal documents and communicate professionally with clients and other parties by phone and email.
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings and conference calls, coordinate transaction-related activities, and arrange travel.
Organize and maintain client and matter files, including corporate records and transaction-related documentation, within the firm's document management system.
Support corporate transactions by coordinating documents, signatures, filings, deliveries, and other administrative aspects of transactions and closings.
Collaborate with attorneys and Finance to review and process vendor payments, client-related expenses, and attorney expense reports.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other administrative teams to assist with overflow work and additional tasks as needed.
What You'll Bring
At least 2 years of experience as a Corporate Legal Assistant in a law firm or equivalent environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree or higher is preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
Experience with document management systems is preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.
A proactive, adaptable, professional, and resourceful approach to supporting attorneys and clients.
