Project Manager
A long-standing Design-Build General Contractor is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team. This firm offers construction services including general contracting, construction management, and design-build.
Responsibilities:
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Create and manage project schedules.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within or under budget.
Process project change orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Coordinate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel when needed.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and help resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Prepare and submit budget estimates.
Conform with all safety rules and support the execution of best safety practices.
Assist with estimating new projects as needed.
Skills:
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong background in commercial construction projects.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Strong understanding of project scheduling.
Education / Experience:
Construction Project Manager experience required.
Bachelor’s degree and/or Associate’s degree in Construction Management preferred, but not required.
Design-Build experience preferred.
Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
