Project Manager – Building Automation/Construction
St. Paul, MN | $85k - $110k | Direct hire
Looking for a Project Manager who can own large-scale projects while also building strong client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being both technical and customer-facing, helping drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Manage $500K–$10M+ projects across healthcare, education, commercial, and data center environments. Act as the face of the company to clients, building trust and generating future work
Responsibilities
Lead multiple projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
Manage project financials, including forecasting, billing, and cost control
Oversee scope, change orders, and resource coordination to maintain schedules
Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and driving repeat business
Provide leadership to project teams, including field staff and engineers
Interpret drawings and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems and controls
Qualifications
2+ years of Project Management experience
PMP certification - preferred
Experience with mechanical systems, controls, or building automation projects
Background in construction or large-scale project environments
Ability to read and interpret drawings and the scope of work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Outlook)
