Job Description

Lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery of schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and proactively managing expectations. Direct subcontractor performance, coordination efforts, and project meetings to drive accountability and project success. Forecast project outcomes and identify potential risks before they impact execution. Manage project schedules, documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change management processes. Coordinate closely with field teams to ensure efficient execution of work and resolution of project challenges. Provide leadership and decision-making support on fast-paced, documentation-heavy projects. Support life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and manufacturing construction projects throughout the Triangle region. Work between the Cary office and project sites within approximately 90 minutes of the Raleigh-Durham area.

The Successful Applicant

Must-Have Qualifications: Experience managing commercial construction projects as a Project Manager. Background in pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or similarly complex technical construction projects. Strong understanding of project documentation, including submittal logs and RFI management. Proven ability to lead client communication, conduct meetings, and manage subcontractors effectively. Demonstrated experience taking ownership of project outcomes and driving projects to successful completion.

Preferred Experience: Experience with life sciences or pharmaceutical facility construction. Knowledge of footings, concrete work, and related structural scope. Experience working on occupied facilities, renovations, or interior fit-out projects. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in fast-moving project environments.
