Project Manager – Healthcare / Health Insurance

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85021 | Hybrid: 1 day/week onsite
Type: W2 Contract-to-Hire | Duration: 4+ Months
Pay: $65–$70/hour

Job Summary

Seeking a Project Manager to lead business and IT projects from initiation through successful implementation. The ideal candidate will have healthcare/health insurance experience and strong skills in project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish, including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Track projects using Gantt charts, RAID logs, MS Project, and SharePoint.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and third-party vendors.
• Coordinate with business, IT, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Prepare project plans, status reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Support ITIL-based process improvements, including Change, Problem, and Incident Management.
• Support requirements gathering, UAT, implementation, and PMO initiatives.

Required Skills

• Healthcare/Health Insurance industry experience.
• CMS knowledge.
• Business and IT project management experience.
• ITIL/process improvement experience.
• Experience with Gantt charts, RAID logs, and project tracking tools.
• Agile methodology exposure.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of AI models preferred.
