    Job Summary:

    This position is located within the DC CR ARCS Assessments Unit. The Project Manager oversees the implementation, quality assurance, and compliance of the Ohio Risk Assessment System (ORAS) institutional assessments across all prison complexes, including the Prison Intake Tool (PIT) and Supplemental Reentry Tool (SRT). This role directly supervises assigned staff, ensures fidelity-based assessment administration, and collaborates extensively with Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) community corrections, treatment personnel, contracted staff, and volunteer partners to maintain comprehensive reentry and programming services.

    Job Duties:

    - Oversees and supports the implementation of Ohio Risk Assessment System (ORAS) institutional assessments, including the Prison Intake Tool (PIT) and Supplemental Reentry Tool (SRT) across prison complexes
    - Conducts quality assurance audits of completed ORAS assessments for scoring accuracy, documentation completeness, and compliance with agency policy
    - Maintains detailed audit logs, prepares summary reports of findings, and tracks trends or error patterns
    - Provides coaching, manages staff certification and recertification documentation, and resolves quality issues to maintain assessment fidelity
    - Serves as a regional champion and liaison between Reentry Center staff, institutional case management personnel, and Community Corrections Officers
    - Functions as the Reentry Center Liaison between community organizations offering services at Reentry Center and ADCRR
    - Actively seeks out new services to add to Reentry Center
    - Manages and supervises staff; serves as a backup to staff as needed
    - Ensures services are provided in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
    - Updates and maintains databases related to residents' participation programs
    - Prepares quantitative and qualitative reports for programs and program participation rates
    - Conducts quality control and improvement audits of programs and services offered at Reentry Center
    - Reviews, develops, and recommends policies, practices, and process improvements to ensure accuracy
    - Drives on State business
    - Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

    Knowledge of:
    - Ohio Risk Assessment System (ORAS) tools, including PIT and SRT, and risk/needs assessment principles
    - Quality assurance methods, compliance review processes, and staff certification tracking
    - Principles and practices of management and supervision
    - Evidence-based programming
    - Best practices for correctional programs and community supervision
    - Community resources and requirements for participation in those resources
    - Adult learning processes
    - Computers and various software
    - Business English, grammar, and correspondence

    Selective Preference(s):

    - Prefer a Masters or Bachelors Degree from an accredited school and three (3) to five (5) years experience in program delivery or
    management.
    - Previous correctional experience/knowledge of ADCRR policies and procedures and case management system preferred.

    Pre-Employment Requirements:

    Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.

    If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).

    In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

    Retirement:

    Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
